Seven Killings in the Travel palace – meaning in a Purple Star chart

· Seven Killings meeting malefic stars — conflicts when you go out escalate easily; caution is needed.

· Seven Killings in the Travel palace — signifies striking out on your own, standing firm by real strength.

· Life palace Emperor and Treasury, Travel palace Seven Killings (Emperor and Treasury seated in the court) — read in the direction of being close to the emperor and assisting the one in the high seat, separate from Seven Killings Facing the Dipper.

· Complete Book, volume 1, Dou Shu Bone Marrow Rhapsody: “Seven Killings and Army Breaker should go out”

· Complete Book, Volume 2, section on the Travel palace: “The Seven Killings spends many days outside and few at home; with the Martial star, a moving environment is good; with Integrity, you make money abroad; with the Emperor, you mostly fulfil your ambitions abroad; adding the Ram Blade, Hindrance, Fire Star, Bell Star, Earth Void and Earth Robbery, you are anxious and uneasy, or drift to the ends of the earth.”

With Seven Killings in the Travel palace, you can take charge of a whole side when you go out, and suit charging ahead in fiercely competitive fields such as the military police, finance, sales and starting a business. The book says of Seven Killings “few days at home, many days outside”, meaning far more time is spent outside than at home; sharing the palace with Martial is “fortunate in movement”, meaning things go smoothly once you get moving; sharing it with Integrity is “wealth made outside”, meaning money is earned elsewhere; sharing it with Emperor is “often fulfilling ambition outside”, meaning that going out makes it easier to realise your aspirations. These lines all say the same thing: stepping outside goes smoothly. In other places you stand your ground on decisiveness and real ability. If the Life palace is precisely Emperor and Treasury sharing the palace in the Tiger palace or the Monkey palace (the Travel palace being Seven Killings), it is called Emperor and Treasury seated in the garden and is read as being near the emperor and assisting a superior; this pattern and the pattern of Seven Killings seated in the Life palace with Emperor and Treasury in the Travel palace, namely “Seven Killings facing the Dipper”, are two ends and must be viewed separately, and both must fall at an age fitting one's station before they are spoken of this way; the Complete Book and the Bone Marrow Rhapsody record side by side “Seven Killings facing the Dipper, rank and salary flourish; Emperor and Treasury sharing a palace, lifelong deep blessing”. Conversely, adding Ram Blade, Hindrance, Fire Star, Bell Star, Earth Void and Earth Robbery makes “worry and unrest, or drifting to the ends of the earth”, meaning unsettled running around outside, inner unease and plenty of gossip and disputes.
