· Complete Book, Volume 1, section “What the Greedy Wolf governs”: “In the Siblings and Children palaces, it is always in the Fallen position.”

· Complete Book, Volume 2, section on the Children palace: “The Greedy Wolf in a Temple or Prosperous position: two children, with early punishment and loss; with the Emperor, two; with Integrity, few children, and if it takes the lead, two; with the Martial star, three, hard at first and easy later.”

One reading holds that Greedy Wolf in the Children palace means only one child; the “Complete Book” gives a different number, and the two views stand side by side. The ancient books say “Temple or Prosperous: two children, early punishment and clash”, meaning that when Greedy Wolf enters the Temple (a star in this position has great strength) there are about two children, and punishment and clash show early. Children may be showy and fond of enjoyment when young, and the later the years, the better the achievements; “first indulgent, then steady” is the usual way, meaning first letting go, then settling down.

With Greedy Wolf in the Children palace, your children are talented in many fields, strong in peach blossom, and active in socializing; from small they are the kind of child “everyone who meets them likes”, meaning they are cherished wherever they go. As for the parent-child relationship, the child has strong independence, with their own desires and pursuits, and parents find it hard to control them fully.

Children have talent but are not many in number, and peach blossom comes early. With Greedy Wolf in a Temple or Prosperous position, the old books say “early punishment and harm”.
