Greedy Wolf in the Life palace – meaning in a Purple Star chart

· Complete Book, Volume 2, section on the Life palace, entry on the Greedy Wolf: “The Greedy Wolf belongs to Wood and transforms into the peach blossom killing star. The Greedy Wolf in a Temple position is tall and plump; in a Fallen palace, the build is small and the voice high yet the generosity great; the temperament is unpredictable and the heart full of calculation, work is done in a rush without patience for stillness, too much skill turns to clumsiness, and there is a fondness for gambling, flowers and wine.”

· Complete Book, Volume 2, section on the Life palace, entry on the Greedy Wolf: “The Greedy Wolf and the Army Breaker in the Fallen position, meeting benefic stars transformed into Taboo, are in the end not beneficial; a man becomes treacherous and a woman a lewd entertainer; adding malefic stars shining on the Life palace, you cannot sleep peacefully.”

· Greedy Wolf + Fire Star = Fire Star with Greedy Wolf — a sign of sudden wealth.

· Greedy Wolf + Bell Star = Bell Star with Greedy Wolf — also signifies sudden wealth.

· Greedy Wolf does not prosper when young — the original line is in the Martial section of the Complete Book, and refers to the case of Martial guarding the Life palace and meeting Greedy Wolf; Greedy Wolf sitting alone in the Life palace does not apply.

· Greedy Wolf is a peach blossom and desire star — by the traditional five elements it belongs to Wood; the reasoning “whichever element the star belongs to governs that organ” is not the correct method of reading the Health palace (the correct method is to look at the whole chart and take the earthly branch of the palace where malefic stars gather most to match the organs).

· Greedy Wolf shone on by benefic stars turns desire into creativity — toward the arts and starting a business.

· Greedy Wolf shone on by malefic stars turns desire into degeneration — a risk of drinking, lust and gambling.
